MF DOOM il malvagio, Metal Fingers il beatmaker, Victor Vaughn il giovane protetto di MF DOOM, King Geedorah, la rettiliana extraterrestre sua consigliera. Daniel Dumile era tutto questo e molto altro.
In seguito alla perdita del fratello, con cui fondò i KMD, si ritirò dalla scena per fare ritorno sotto le vesti di MF DOOM.
È diventato il “villain”, il cattivo della sua stessa storia, ma come il celebre Doctor Doom di Marvel egli ruba quantità per dare qualità, una sorta di Robin Hood dell’Hip Hop.
Si ribella a quel sistema che vuole vendere l’artista prima del prodotto, l’immagine prima del sound e per questo, da li in poi, comparirà sempre indossando una maschera, dietro alla quale non si nasconde, ma porta avanti la sua ribellione e cerca la sua vendetta.
La collaborazione che ha segnato la storia è l’esperienza di Madvillainy, progetto in collaborazione con Madlib. Per citare lo stesso DOOM, questo disco è come un Bistro in cui puoi esser sicuro di trovare “the finest of the finer things”… servitevi pure.

Daniel Dumile was all this and more.
Following the loss of his brother, with whom he founded KMD, he retired from the scene to return as MF DOOM.
He has become the villain of his own story, but like Marvel’s famous Doctor Doom, he steals quantity to give quality, a sort of Hip Hop’s Robin Hood.
He rebels against that system that wants to sell the artist before the product, the image before the sound and, for this reason, from then on he will always appear wearing a mask, behind which he doesn’t hide, but he carries on his rebellion and seeks his revenge.
