On May 23rd and 24th, the city of Trieste hosts the project ArTS. PIAZZA DELL’ARtE PUBBLICA, an initiative that aims to investigate the relationship between art and public space in order to underline the role of urban environment as place of reflection on the contemporary. In occasion of the festival, artists shortlisted for the prize are given a 100 square meter room conceived to arrange a solo exhibition. On saturday, november 29th, we’ve been awarded of the first prize at Francesco Fabbri award for contemporary art, contemporary photography section. The winning artwork is a picture from the series Approximation to the West, titled Cossack boots, Arta Terme #001, 2013. The photograph is now part of the contemporary photography collection of Fabbri Foundation in Treviso, Italy.
