On May 23rd and 24th, the city of Trieste hosts the project ArTS. PIAZZA DELL’ARtE PUBBLICA, an initiative that aims to investigate the relationship between art and public space in order to underline the role of urban environment as place of reflection on the contemporary. In addition to this, the project points out that art has to be promoted as a mean of engagement, social cohesion and participation.
On Saturday, May 23rd, several artistic interventions will be presented by some cultural centers of the city, while on Sunday 24th, an all day long series of events and performances will have place in Piazza della Repubblica. ArTS is promoted by the municipality of Trieste and Allianz.
